About Rising Sign

My first sound bath was a gong session in Hong Kong, at the end of a 16-hour flight and the start of another demanding week of work across Asia. I went on a recommendation and expected very little from the experience. That night, I slept better than I had in years.

At the time, I was living in New York City and working in fast-moving creative and business environments where achievement, productivity, and constant forward motion were the norm. For a long time, I loved that pace. Eventually, burnout and an autoimmune diagnosis forced me to reconsider my relationship with rest, attention, and the signals my body had been ignoring.

I took time away from work and began exploring practices that might help me reconnect with myself in a more sustainable way. I kept coming back to that experience in Hong Kong. Sound had reached me in a way that other modalities hadn't. What began as curiosity became a personal practice, then formal study through the Sound Healing Academy, and eventually the foundation of Rising Sign.

Today, I create sound experiences shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I am interested in creating sensory-rich spaces where people can pause long enough to listen, without needing to perform, strive, or arrive at anything in particular.
