Summertime

Activities

  • Honor the energy of summer by creating a “joy board”—a visual collage of what makes you feel alive, free, and empowered. Unlike a vision board, this isn’t about goals—it’s about pleasure, vitality, and presence. Let it remind you that feeling good is a form of clarity.

  • Channel your heat - don’t burn out:

    • Body: Practice cooling breath (sipping air through pursed lips), and add aloe, cucumber, mint, or coconut water to your day. Avoid excess caffeine or spicy foods, especially during peak heat hours.

    • Mind: Replace pressure with pleasure. Set down your to-do list and ask: What would feel energizing—not depleting—right now?

    • Space: Dim the lights. Open the windows at dawn or dusk. Create “cool corners” in your home with calming scents, natural textures, and soft fabrics.

  • Wear light, breathable fabrics in colors that reflect your mood—yellows, soft golds, and sky blues to evoke strength, joy, and clarity.

  • Spend time near water—whether it’s swimming, soaking your feet, or just listening to a fountain. Let water recalibrate your internal fire.

  • Rest during peak heat. Emulate nature—when the sun is at its highest, animals seek shade and stillness. Allow yourself to pause and soften.

  • Try belly-down rest poses or light twists to regulate the solar plexus and settle digestive fire. Hands on your belly, breathe into your power without forcing it.

  • Create a solar mist—combine filtered water, a few drops of citrus or floral essential oils, and a small crystal. Use it to refresh your skin and energy midday.

  • Diffuse or wear essential oils that cool and uplift: peppermint, lemongrass, ylang ylang, sweet orange, or geranium.

  • Make a summer playlist with songs that feel like golden hour. Let it hold the energy of ease, movement, and inner fire.

  • Dance barefoot. Let your body move with the rhythm of your own solar energy. No choreography—just intuition and joy.

  • Take yourself on a solo summer date—sit in the sun with a book, go to the farmer’s market, or journal outside. Be your own best company.

  • Reflect, meditate, attend a sound bath, or simply sit in quiet. Summer is not just outward—it can also be a time to refine your truth and listen inward, beneath the heat and light.

☀️ Reflecting on the Summer Solstice and Sound Bath

  • What sensations, images, or emotions arose for you during the sound bath or meditation?

  • How did your body respond to the vibrations—did you feel open, activated, softened?

  • What does this season of peak light stir in you? Are there parts of you ready to be seen more fully?

  • In what ways are you being invited to channel your energy, rather than constantly generate it?

🔥 Exploring Your Intention

  • What was the intention you set during the meditation? How did it feel to hold it in your body?

  • If your intention were a flame, how would you tend to it—so it stays steady and warm without burning out?

  • How does your intention connect to your personal power, confidence, or ability to choose your own pace?

🌻 Connection and Gratitude

  • What are you most grateful for in this season of fullness and vitality?

  • Who or what helps you feel bright and alive—but also safe and grounded?

  • How can you celebrate your own growth—not as something to prove, but something to honor?

🌞 Looking Ahead

  • What kind of warmth do you want to carry with you through the rest of summer?

  • Where are you being called to soften—even in moments of heat or intensity?

  • What does joy look like when it’s unforced? How can you invite more of that into your everyday?

💧 Practical Steps for Integration

  • What small rituals help you stay cool, centered, and aligned with your own natural rhythms?

  • What can you do to support your solar plexus energy—your sense of self, strength, and ease?

  • What helps you remember that radiance doesn't have to mean overexertion?
